Logo Estimate and Deliverables:

A logo design project is as individual as the company it is designed for. Therefore, the following estimate is based on the numerous experiences of Flourish Design. Logos are delivered as digital files—PDF, JPG, or any other format requested by the client—in both print and web quality. Most clients add letterhead, envelope, and business card design to their customized logo package. These finished files are ready to go to print, and we will work together to determine what printing solution works best for your business. In addition, Flourish Design can create custom marketing materials, including brochures, package design, advertisements, web graphics, and illustrations. If you have any further questions about any design services, Flourish Design is delighted to speak with you and also offers one complimentary meeting to discuss your individual project.

General Web Site Estimate:

Flourish Design Studio believes that your website must work for you! We don't just make pretty sites, we make them work for you 24 hours a day! FDS knows that your website needs unique design + search engine optimization + well-written, searchable content to be found by your potential clients. So, that's how each web project is appraoched- so that your site that is a valuable asset for your business!

Flourish design studio website design & development package includes:

• Custom website design: 2 design options are provided to the client (for the website 'frame', which remains consistent on each page), one is chosen & refined, and that design is then implemented)
• Optimization built in to the site: Search engine optimization (keywords, metadata, tagging) is coded in to your site- which boosts search inquiries from Google and other search engines.
• Google Analytics: Google Analytics are added to your site so that you can review data/statistics about your site visitors, such as geographic location, length of time on site, which pages are visited, keywords that led to site visit, etc)
• Content guidance: Guidance and education on how to write good web content (in the form of a worksheet for each web page) is also part of this provided. As content is added to the site, I structure it for maximum readablity and searchability.
• Design of the content area of a site: The content area (which usually displays the written content and is often neglected) of the site is also custom designed by adding images, tables, and/or illustrations to make each page unique and visually interesting. (This is in addition to the 'website frame' which remains the same on each page. Both services are provided with this package.)
• 5-7 pages of website content (Additional pages can be added for a nominal fee).
• Registration with Google: Your website, business, and site map are all registered with Google, which also increases your search engine results
  
  

Custom premium website design and development starting at $1850.

Further site options:

• At times, you may want to vary the 'theme' of the content area within the site. The 'frame' of the site remains the same, but the interior content area has its own visual style, allowing visual cues that separate your web content. In these cases, each theme generally requires approximately 1 hour per theme.
• PayPal stores are an effective way to incorporate ecommerce into your website. Flourish Design Studio can add PayPal stores and carts into your website. In addition, PayPal allows for custom buttons, custom payment pages, etc.
• Slideshows are a great way to showcase your products or photo albums! Add them to your site so that visitors can see more images. Set-up time is dependent on the number of images in your slideshow.
• If you require a custom store/shopping cart experience, contact Flourish Design Studio for an estimate based on your needs.
• Forms are an efficient method of collecting data from your website visitors. The data can be sent to you as an e-mail or attached to your database.
• Databases are collections of data and information that businesses and organizations can use to enhance their web functionality. they vary greatly in complexity. If you require a database for your project, please request a custom database estimate.
• Content Management Systems (CMS) allow the website owner to edit the content on their website. There are a number of ways to incorporate this into your web development. A custom, web-based CMS can be created for your site, or you can use software, such as Adobe Contribute. Please inquire about a CMS estimate.

*A couple of notes about website content: It should be noted that the written content for your website must be provided in digital form- a Word document, e-mail, text edit, etc. If you should find that you need writing and/or editing of your website, Flourish Design Studio works with strategic partners to fill those needs. You may choose to work privately with those service providers or to create a package with Flourish Design Studio that includes those and/or other services.

*A note about website images: Flourish Design Studio enjoys making the content area of your website visually interesting, to enhance the content on each page. The client can provide images to be used throughout the site. The images provided can be used "as is", or images can be photoshopped to enhance color or remove backgrounds. Photoshopping of images, depending on the number and complexity, may add design time to your project. *You may also choose to use stock photography within your site. Stock photos are professionally-taken photos and can range greatly in cost. Flourish Design Studio often chooses stock photography to enhance the site design. If you prefer to guide the stock photography selection, an extensive and inexpensive source of stock photos is available at www.istockphoto.com.

• Getting Your Website 'Live'
  Each website on the world wide web must have a domain name and a hosting service. Your hosting is the place where your website files are stored. The hosting is the place where your website name is registered.

If these services are not in place, Flourish Design Studio can arrange them for you. Securing the domain name and hosting account requires approximately 1 hour of development time. In addition, you should expect to pay approximately $5-10 per month for the combined cost of your web hosting and domain name.

• Perhaps you already have your hosting account in place. In that case, Flourish Design Studio will require FTP access to your site. That information includes: FTP Host Address, Directory (if applicable), Login Name, and Password.
• If you have a domain name/url already registered, but not have a hosting plan, I will need to access the domain account so that I can update the DNS settings. (The DNS info is what allows the domain and the host 'talk' to eachother if they do not reside in the same place).

• Getting 'Found' On the Web
  When your website goes live, you will want to monitor your web traffic. Clients may choose to monitor their Google Analytics themselves, or they may choose to have Flourish Design Studio to review the analytics periodically, make recommendations, and make adjustments. Review of analytic data and recommendations require approximately 1 hour of time each time it is done.
• Extras
  Flourish Design Studio can add fun extras to your website, too. If you want a favicon (ex: the leaf that appears in the navigation bar by the web address on this site) added to your site, approximately 15 minutes of programming is required.
• Slideshows, etc. Customize your website to suit your needs. Ask about adding slideshows and other extras to you site!

About website updates:

Flourish Design Studio is proud to provide excellent customer service for maintaing your website. Should you need minor web updates (text and or images added or replaced), Flourish Design Studio will update your website within one week of your request. Regular web updates are generally scheduled in the beginning of the workweek, so by providing update information by 9:00 AM on a Monday morning, you can feel assured that the update will be completed quickly. Updates requiring more attention will be added to the schedule in the next available opening. Flourish Design Studio does not charge a monthly administrative fee for this service. Instead, the standard hourly rate (of $75 per hour) applies to web updates. Minor web updates average about 15 minutes per update.

Custom website Design only (without development/programming):

• Perhaps you need a web designer, without needing to have the programming completed. Flourish Design Studio is happy to help! Each web design created by Flourish Design Studio is completely custom. The layout and graphics are tailored to meet your needs and to appeal to your target market. 2 design options are presented to the client and then fine-tuned. When the initial design is complete, the design is then prepped for the website programming stage. One 1-hour meeting is included and can be accomplished in person, over e-mail, or by phone.
  Projected cost of design only: $400-$550.

A. Rack Card

(2 panels, 1 on front, 1 on back) sized to fit in brochure rack, usually printed on cardstock, 2 unique design options to choose from: Projected Time: 3—5 hrs (includes 1 1-hour meeting); Rate: $75/hr;
Projected Cost: $375—$525

B. Traditional Trifold

(6 panels, 3 on front, 3 on back) on letter-size paper, 2 unique design options to choose from:
Projected Time: 5—7 hrs (includes 1 1-hour meeting); Rate: $75/hr; Projected Cost: $375—$525

C. Folded 8-Panel Brochure

(4 on front, 4 on back), on legal-size paper, 2 unique design options to choose from:

D. Booklet-Style Brochure:

A distinctive brand corresponds with distinctive materials. Show off your brand with a professionally-designed business card, letterhead, envelope, greeting card, etc. Choose the correspondence materials that make the most sense for your style. Final designs are prepared for the printing method of your choice: commercial printer, self-printing, etc.
